I design and operate execution systems — the machinery that turns product intent, commercial commitments, and customer demand into reality at scale.After more than two decades in software, data, and platform engineering, I’ve learned a simple truth: technology only compounds when execution is engineered. Demos don’t survive contact with customers. Models don’t matter if the systems producing their inputs aren’t trusted. Intelligence is useless without a path to action.Today, as Director of Software Engineering at BD, I lead segment-embedded teams responsible for go-to-market execution systems — the platforms and workflows that connect products, provisioning, commercial operations, and customer transitions from legacy to next-generation solutions. These systems define how work actually moves: from intent, to orchestration, to delivery, to measurable outcome.As part of this responsibility, we operate a federated node of BD’s corporate data mesh with embedded data engineering and data science capabilities. Analytics and machine learning are applied directly inside operational workflows — improving readiness, throughput, reliability, and customer experience — rather than living as standalone initiatives or slideware.Earlier in my career, I led cloud-native platform and distribution efforts, including zero-touch CI/CD and enterprise provisioning systems that reshaped how software and services were delivered across regulated, mission-critical environments. That experience permanently shaped how I think about scale, ownership, and organizational physics.I’m interested in conversations with people who build real systems: platform engineers, data leaders, operators, and executives who understand that AI doesn’t replace execution — it amplifies it, and only when the underlying machinery is already sound.
