This allows leadership to drive change and make data driven decisions at 83 anesthetizing locations across 4 campuses. • Coordinated, prepared, and submitted a philanthropic grant proposal to obtain for the expansion and research of alternative strategies and therapies to reduce pediatric pain. • Led critical initiative to optimized the productivity and efficiency with select MRI workflows in order to increase case volumes and reduce reliance on supplemental pay.• Worked with Department and Division leadership, as well as graphic designers to develop and publish a comprehensive Department Five Year Report to highlight faculty and committee accomplishments to assist in recruitment and marketing of the department and presented the report to Texas Children’s Hospital senior leadership. • Managed a special project to streamline the dosimeter process within the department by identifying need and constraints of the project scope, which reduced the number of unreturned and unused dosimeters each quarter resulting in a reduction to operating cost of each quarter. • Collaborated with department leaders, marketing and vendors to successfully plan special events including faculty receptions, Fellow’s graduation, leadership retreat and conference exhibits within the allotted department budget.
