Over thirty years ago, I chose a career in the US Marine Corps and law enforcement with a commitment to keeping people safe, and I am proud to have upheld this duty to protect and serve the community. Throughout my career, I have focused on providing top-tier strategies and thought leadership across all areas of threat management: physical, operational, and information security.Security risks are constantly evolving and increasingly complex. Addressing these challenges requires a collaborative approach and knowledge-sharing across domains. I have partnered extensively with global tech leaders, using my expertise to help them navigate a broad range of security challenges involving technology, facilities, operations, and human behavior.In my role as the Director of Global Security at Lucid, I am committed to leading a a team of corporate security leaders who have oversight of security technology, investigations, business resiliency, corporate security officer programs and third-party security services. Additionally, I am focused on building robust Insider Threat and Workplace Violence Prevention programs to protect our people, property, assets, and information at Lucid.

   Direct and manage all facets of physical security operations across Lucid\'s global footprint, including offices, sales and service centers, and manufacturing sites in North America, Europe, and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.Build, lead, and mentor a large, diverse team of security professionals, including both internal staff and external security service providers.Develop and refine security protocols and procedures to ensure robust guarding services and investigations, safeguarding company assets and personnel while balancing operational demands, employee dignity, convenience, and privacy.Oversee partnerships with professional service providers, managing security staffing contracts and budget to ensure effective site protection.Lead the Global Security Investigations Program, conducting comprehensive investigations into security incidents and breaches across all locations.Establish and improve Insider Threat, Travel Risk Management, and Workplace Violence Prevention programs, proactively identifying and mitigating potential risks.Supervise Lucid’s Global Security Operations Centers (GSOC), utilizing advanced monitoring technologies to detect and address potential security threats and vulnerabilities worldwide.Set investigative standards and procedures for Security, Cybersecurity, Employee Relations (ER), Human Resources (HR), and Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) investigations.Conduct both internal and external investigations as needed.Collaborate with Cyber/IT, Employee Relations, HR, Legal, and Physical Security teams to develop controls and tools for Insider Threat Management.Implement and oversee the Workplace Violence Prevention Program to maintain a safe and secure workplace environment.
