ABOUT LOLLY CHEATHAM

With over 10 years of experience in accessibility, web development, and education, I am passionate about making the web more accessible and inclusive for everyone. As an Accessibility Engineer at CVS, I work with a cross-functional team to ensure that our web applications comply with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and meet the needs of diverse users. I use my expertise in ZoomText, WAI-ARIA, and other accessibility tools and techniques to test, audit, and remediate web pages and components, as well as to provide feedback and guidance to developers and designers. Previously, I was a Web Accessibility Tester at Verizon Consumer Group, where I helped to improve the accessibility and usability of Verizon\'s websites and mobile apps. I also have a background in education and assistive technology, having worked as a Special Education Teacher, an Assistive Technology Specialist, and an Intake Coordinator/Trainer for adaptive technology programs. I am always eager to learn new skills and technologies and to collaborate with others who share my vision of creating a more accessible and inclusive web.
