ABOUT OMOLOLA OYEDELE

As a Global Talent Visa recipient under the Exceptional Promise category, I bring a unique intersection of legal expertise, music business insight, and creative practice to the UK’s music scene. Originally trained and qualified in Nigeria, I worked as an entertainment lawyer specializing in music licensing, publishing, rights clearance, and content acquisition. I’ve provided legal and business affairs support to artists, rights owners, and music companies, helping navigate complex contracts and industry negotiations. In the UK, I’m building a career as a DJ performing at venues such as Band on the Wall, Summer Breeze Festival, Reform Radio, Crop Radio with a focus on Afrobeats, Amapiano, and global club music. I’ve also facilitated workshops, mentored emerging artists, and worked closely with community arts organizations like Reform Radio. I’m now seeking opportunities that blend my music industry knowledge and creative skills whether that’s in music rights, content acquisition, A&R, artist development, or brand partnerships. I’m especially passionate about helping emerging voices thrive, and I’m open to collaboration, consultancy, and employment in music business facing roles. I am passionate about championing the rights and creating wealth for creatives.
