I work in the State Grant Management unit, monitoring multi-million dollar contracts. I am responsible for setting up contracts in our IntraNet, providing program support, reviewing loan documents and reports, reconciling budgets, performing budget revisions, processing requests for funds, organizing and presenting at meetings with Grantees, closing out contracts, and performing annual risk assessments. It is my pleasure to support my Team and facilitate the Department of Housing & Community Development\'s mission to provide stable, safe homes affordable to veterans, seniors, tribes, people with disabilities, and those experiencing homelessness.Recent Accomplishment: In 2024 I independently created the concept for and the official Pet Assistance and Support (PAS) Expenditure Flier, which was overwhelmingly approved by the State Grant Management Section Chief and distributed to all Grantees that we work with. This Expenditure Guide has been crucial in assisting our many PAS Grantees in California with creative allowable expenditures that will help them serve the unhoused and their beloved pets. It is now a permanent resource in my Unit. Local Housing Trust Fund (LHTF) ProgramThe LHTF program provides matching funds to local and regional housing trust funds dedicated to the creation, rehabilitation, or preservation of affordable housing, transitional housing and emergency shelters.Pet Assistance and Support (PAS) ProgramThe intent of the PAS program is to allow homeless shelters to reduce barriers for those individuals experiencing homelessness with their pets. By making accommodations for pets, we bring individuals into shelters who otherwise would not receive services and shelter.Permanent Local Housing Allocation (PLHA) ProgramPLHA provides funding to local governments in California for housing-related projects and programs that assist in addressing the unmet housing needs of their local communities.

ABOUT LOLA JADE CIMMINO
With over 20 years of experience in all phases of Finance and Mortgage Lending and a strong background working with HUD Housing and Community Development programs and Grant Management, I provide value and experience to my Team. I am a hands-on independent professional who loves supporting HUD partners and those experiencing homelessness while constantly increasing my knowledge base so that I represent my Department at my highest capacity. I feel blessed to work where I make a difference in the lives of others while supporting a mutual mission to improve the quality of life for all. In addition to many years of excellence in Luxury Sales, Project Management, and Finance, I received a full Police Security Clearance in 2020 and completed Police Academy for 911 Public Safety Dispatch Training. In 2022 I successfully obtained a HUD Federal Contractor Public Trust Clearance for my last position with Leido\'s and the FHA Resource Center and remain authorized with a U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) PIV - CIPP/US Clearance until April 2028.
