I am a Trauma-Responsive Reproductive & Perinatal Therapist that believes Maternal Mental Health Care is a necessity, not a privilege. I\'m committed to supporting those affected with Maternal Mental Health issues by ensuring that they receive holistic quality and specialized Mental Health Care.I hold a Master\'s degree in Clinical Social Work from Florida State University, & am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I am certified in Perinatal Mental Health, having received extensive training through Postpartum Support International, the American College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists, Maternal Mental Health Now, California Maternal Quality Care Collaborative, Birth & Trauma Support Center, Cherished Moms, 2020 Mom, PESI & Bibo Mia. I am also a Level 2 Birth Trauma Therapist and a certified Pregnancy and Infant Loss Advocate. These significant trainings have enabled me to center my practice around health & wellness approaches w/ Perinatal Mood & Anxiety Disorders, Infertility, Pregnancy Loss & Grief, Reproductive/Birth Trauma Violence, the “Magical Motherhood Myth” that often results in unrealistic & self-loathing expectations of self, & life stressors related to feelings of being trapped in the “roles” of woman, mother & caregiver.
