ABOUT LOLA ELLIS

I am a Political Science and Film Studies student at Boston College. I have a passion for storytelling and filmmaking, and I use my multimedia skills to create various narrative and documentary film projects. I also have experience as a Multimedia Intern and a Digital Media Assistant at Boston College, where I assist with video production, photography, editing, and design for various purposes. As an independent filmmaker, I have directed, written, produced, filmed, color graded, and edited films that explore a wide variety of topics. I have received funding from the Salmanowitz Grant for a social justice student film, and I have submitted my films to various festivals to be selected as official entries. As a Multimedia Intern and a Digital Media Assistant at Boston College, I have worked with different teams and departments to source multimedia assets, schedule shoots, and develop creative concepts and marketing content. I have also attended and covered various events and led creative direction on digital media production. I am motivated by the opportunity to use my multimedia skills to engage and inspire audiences, support causes that I care about, and contribute to the mission and vision of the organizations that I work with.
