Public Safety Radio Network (PSRN) Project This modernization project will ensure Ontario’s more than frontline and emergency responders — including OPP officers, paramedics and hospital staff, forest fire services, provincial highway maintenance staff, as well as parks, enforcement, and correctional officers — can count on the communications infrastructure, network, and equipment they need when responding to emergencies. The Emergency Health I & IT Solutions & Technology Management Branch (EHSTMB) in conjunction with the Government Mobile Communications Branch (GMCB), BELL and Motorola will rollout equipments at the 500+ ambulance bases, 160+ hospitals, 22 dispatch centres, Ornge dispatch centre and ambulances in addition to all paramedic and first nation responders. Responsibilities:• Develop, manage, and execute stream project charters, integrated project plans, schedules, and communication plans, including obtaining approvals from all relevant stakeholders• Develop project schedules to align with project objectives, responsibilities, accountabilities, timelines and resource availabilities. • Coordinate technical project team members and complete assigned tasks within allocated time. • Monitor projected versus actual project expenditures and reports on project progress/status. • Forecast costs under/overruns and communicate with all required stakeholders. • Identify inherent and developing project risks and issues. Make recommendations to mitigate identified risks and escalate risks as they become issues. • Facilitate communications and maintain relationships with all business partners, internal and external clients to manage expectations. • Participate in steering committee and stakeholder meetings • Provide project reporting to multi-stakeholders at senior executive levels.
