I’m a Data Engineer with around 5 years of experience building and supporting data platforms for reporting, analytics, and operational decision-making. Most of my work has been in insurance and financial services, where reliability, data quality, and governance matter as much as performance.I work across AWS, Azure, and GCP, designing ETL and ELT pipelines that handle large batch workloads as well as near real-time data. On a day-to-day basis, I use Spark, Databricks, Airflow, Azure Data Factory, and AWS Glue, and have spent significant time working with Databricks lakehouse architectures using Delta Lake, dbt, and Unity Catalog.I spend a lot of time working with BI teams, data scientists, and business partners to make sure the data is reliable and usable. I’ve supported production systems through on-call rotations and prefer owning things end-to-end rather than handing them off.
