Signal and Telecommunication (S&T) will be responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of railway signal and telecommunication systems to ensure safe and efficient train operations. This role includes managing teams, ensuring compliance with standards, coordinating with other departments, and ensuring timely project completion.Key Responsibilities:Supervision & Installation:Oversee the installation, commissioning, and testing of signaling and telecommunication equipment, including control panels, signals, interlocking systems, and communication networks.Ensure all equipment meets railway standards and complies with regulatory requirements.Maintenance & Troubleshooting:Conduct regular inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting of signaling and telecommunication systems to prevent system failures and ensure continuous operation.Respond to signal faults promptly and coordinate repair and maintenance activities.Project Coordination:Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to meet project timelines and specifications.Prepare and maintain project documentation, including work reports, technical specifications, and safety checklists.Safety & Compliance:Ensure all S&T work adheres to safety guidelines, minimizing risks to workers and railway operations.Provide team members with training on operational and safety standards in railway signaling and telecommunications.Team Management:Supervise and guide field technicians and junior engineers to ensure project objectives are met.Conduct performance evaluations and provide mentorship to team members.
