WORK HISTORY
Sr Devsecops Engineer @Corewell Health
Detroit, MI, US
Led the design and implementation of enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines using Harness CI/CD, enabling automated, reliable, and scalable application deployments across cloud and on-prem environments. Built and optimized Harness pipelines (CI, CD, and GitOps workflows) integrating source control, build automation, testing, and deployment strategies, significantly improving release speed and stability. Designed and implemented end-to-end deployment automation in Harness, including blue-green, canary, and rolling deployment strategies for Kubernetes-based applications. Deployed and managed containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes, integrating seamlessly with Harness for automated multi-environment releases across AWS and GCP. Integrated Harness with Kubernetes clusters to enable continuous delivery with automated rollback, health checks, and environment verification. Automated infrastructure provisioning using Terraform across AWS and GCP, embedding infrastructure deployments into Harness pipelines to enable full Infrastructure as Code (IaC) lifecycle management. Implemented DevSecOps practices within Harness pipelines, integrating security scanning tools such as Checkmarx (SAST) to ensure early vulnerability detection and secure deployments. Designed and enforced CI/CD governance, pipeline standards, and best practices, improving consistency, auditability, and compliance across multiple teams and repositories. Built and maintained cloud-native observability solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, and Splunk, integrating monitoring feedback into deployment pipelines for proactive issue detection. Developed automated alerts and dashboards to monitor pipeline performance, deployment success rates, and system health, improving operational visibility. Implemented secure secrets management and configuration practices within CI/CD pipelines to safeguard credentials and sensitive data across environments.

ABOUT LOKESH KADIYALA
I’m a Senior DevSecOps Engineer with over 12+ years of experience working with cloud platforms, mostly on Microsoft Azure. I spend most of my time designing and running systems that are secure, scalable, and actually usable for the teams building on top of them.A big part of my work is Infrastructure as Code. I use Terraform and ARM templates to turn infrastructure into something repeatable and predictable across DEV, QA, and PROD. I’ve automated AKS provisioning, scaling, and deployments, and wired everything into Azure DevOps pipelines so changes are controlled, visible, and easy to roll back. I care a lot about doing this the right way—reducing configuration drift, keeping costs in check, and not creating surprises in production.I also come from a strong engineering background. I’ve built and modernized backend services in C# and.NET Core/.NET 6+, refactored legacy code, and spent time profiling and tuning performance. Clean architecture, testing, and readable code matter to me, and I like baking those standards directly into CI/CD pipelines instead of relying on manual checks. On the platform side, I’ve worked extensively with Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm, along with Azure monitoring tools like Application Insights, Log Analytics, and Kusto. I try to build observability in from day one so teams can actually understand what’s happening in production when something goes wrong.Security is part of my day to day work, not an afterthought. That includes least-privilege access with Azure Entra ID, managing secrets with HashiCorp Vault, and making sure CI/CD pipelines meet compliance and audit requirements.I’m comfortable switching between big-picture design and hands-on troubleshooting. I’ve been on call, handled production incidents, and also spent time explaining technical decisions and outcomes to non-technical stakeholders. At the end of the day, I enjoy simplifying complex systems, modernizing older platforms, and helping development teams ship software with confidence.
