About Lokender Tiwari
Currently I am heading the computer vision and deep learning department at BotLab Dynamics / Vayudh. Our objective is to build intelligence for drones that makes them robust to challenging scenarios. Our area of interests includes everything related to drone vision and intelligence ranging from autonomous navigation, object detection, tracking, obstacle avoidance, sensor fusion, generative simulations etc.Prior to this I was Principal Investigator/Senior Research Scientist at TCS Research, where I lead a team of researchers working on problems at the intersection of Computer Vision, Graphics and Deep Learning. I was deeply involved in creating research strategies, execution, mentoring and interactions with business units/clients for piloting research prototypes.Particularly, I am interested in the following domain areas.1. Geometric 3D Perception (SLAM, Depth etc)2. Real-time object detection, tracking, obstacle avoidance etc3. Generative 3D Modeling and Synthesis4. Neural Physics Based Simulation and Synthesis5. Robust and Reliable Deep Learning6. Differentiable Graphics and Inverse Rendering7. Physics Aware AR/VR/XR
