I am a leader who is passionate about the work that I do, namely Executive Coaching, Diversity & Inclusion Strategy & Implementation and Training and Education. In 2018, I was appointed Diversity Director for the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM) for New York State. In April 2017, I was awarded a Diversity in Business Award from the Long Island Business News. I have professional experience in organizations across a variety of industries including 16 years at Adecco Group North America, the world’s largest temporary staffing firm. I have also worked in the advertising, financial services and entertainment industries. I have expertise in change management, conflict resolution, performance management, organizational design/development, supplier and workforce diversity and community outreach. I have successfully led teams of Human Resources professionals through significant organizational restructurings and redesigns. I have trained over people in Inclusive Engagement and Communication to drive increased productivity for organizations. I have been a featured speaker for The Conference Board, World Diversity Leadership Summit, Disability Matters US and EU, the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM) and other global thought leadership Conferences/Summits.I provide Executive Coaching and Leadership Development services for Lee Hecht Harrison, as well as Training and Coaching in the areas of Professional Development, Change Management, Job Search, and Personal Branding. I have also incorporated my own company, Lois M. Cooper Inc. to provide HR Solutions to individuals and teams including Mediation, Coaching and Diversity & Inclusion Consulting and training. I was certified as a Career Coach by the International Coach Federation in 2016.
