ABOUT LOIS ELUNED MCGRATH
Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy with extensive experience in advancing lifelong learning, bilingual education, and professional development across the sciences, including health, medicine, psychology, and sport. Currently leading Bangor University’s College of Medicine and Health\'s Professional Development Portfolio, I design strategic, cross-disciplinary training programmes and oversee the institution\'s non-credit bearing short course operational development.With a strong track record in policy influence, tendering, and stakeholder engagement, I also serve as a Trustee for the Universities Association for Lifelong Learning (UALL) and contribute to QAA Cymru’s Micro-credentials Special Interest Group to support quality and accessibility in Welsh higher education. Passionate about widening participation and flexible learning, I focus on building impactful educational pathways and engaging with communities.
