ABOUT LOHANN-OLIVIER MBIANDA

Lohann-Olivier Mbianda is a Strategist in the making; passionate about connecting finance, consulting, and development to unlock Africa’s potential in the global economy.Currently pursuing a B.A. in Economics at McGill University, Lohann-Olivier is exploring the intersection of strategic consulting, corporate finance, and development economics. He serves as VP Education of the McGill African Students’ Society (MASS), where he leads the planning of the 2026 Africa Speaks Conference.Before joining McGill, Lohann-Olivier graduated from the African Leadership Academy (ALA) in Johannesburg, an institution nurturing the continent’s next generation of changemakers. At ALA, he chaired ALAMAU, worked with ALCG Consulting on real-world client projects, and deepened his interest in economic development and diplomacy.Prior to ALA, while studying in France, he co-founded Tigsiwi, a youth-led think tank connecting African and diaspora voices to bridge perspectives on development and innovation. He also interned at the Embassy of Cameroon in the Netherlands, gaining exposure to international relations and policy implementation.Lohann-Olivier is particularly interested in-Strategy consulting and corporate finance-Development and impact investment-Diaspora entrepreneurship and global collaborationHe believes that with insight, empathy, and collaboration, global challenges can become opportunities for shared progress.Contact Information: l•••••••@gmail.com
