Lohana Capanema is a distinguished political scientist and a graduate of the University of Toronto, recognized as the best university in Canada and among the top 25 globally. In 2019, she earned in record time an Honours Bachelor of Arts with High Distinction in Political Science, Criminology, and Sociology. Her academic journey began at PUC MINAS, where she excelled in the International Relations Program and served as a Director at the largest Model United Nations in Latin America.Lohana\'s research on \"Cities\' Intergovernmental Relations in Canadian Federalism\" received high commendation in the 2018 Global Undergraduate Awards Programme, placing her work among the top 10% of research submissions globally in her category. She had the honor of presenting her research findings to an audience of over 200 scholars in Dublin, Ireland.
