With a strong commitment to sustainability and climate resilience, I have worked at the intersection of climate adaptation, agriculture and community impact, focusing on how environmental challenges translate into real world risks for vulnerable communities. I worked as a Climate Adaptation Researcher at the Centre of Excellence in Disaster Mitigation and Management, IIT Roorkee, where I focused on strengthening the resilience of farming systems and rural communities to natural and human induced climatic risks. My academic background in Agriculture and Environmental Management shaped how I approach environmental problems as systems involving people, incentives, institutions and ecosystems. My work involved building a spatial database of farmers’ adaptation strategies, analyzing behavioral responses to climate risks and contributing to peer reviewed research that informed policy discussions. I also qualified the UGC NET in Environmental Science and Disaster Management, reinforcing a strong analytical and research foundation. Alongside research, I stayed closely engaged with on ground execution and community initiatives. I led reforestation and climate awareness programs, contributed to biodiversity monitoring and bird conservation, and worked directly with students, volunteers and local stakeholders. These experiences clarified a critical pattern. Climate solutions do not fail because of lack of knowledge, but because of misaligned incentives, fragmented execution and weak coordination across actors. Working across these constraints pushed me to priorities solutions that are feasible, scalable and grounded in real world conditions rather than ideal scenarios. In parallel, I currently serve as a Strategic Advisor at Stand For Forests Foundation, where I contribute to climate action initiatives, sustainability strategy, partnerships and volunteer driven programs. This role has strengthened my ability to operate across strategy and execution, aligning stakeholders, prioritizing initiatives and supporting implementation in resource constrained, mission driven environments. Looking ahead, I aim to transition into sustainability strategy and climate focused roles at the intersection of business and policy by pursuing an MBA. I am particularly interested in roles where climate risk, capital allocation and long term strategy converge. My long term goal is to work at the decision making level, helping organizations embed climate resilience and responsible resource management into core business decisions.

   As a Strategic Advisor at Stand For Forests Foundation, I work on climate action initiatives spanning reforestation, biodiversity conservation, and youth engagement. My role focuses on translating sustainability goals into executable programs through community partnerships, volunteer mobilization, and field-led implementation.1. Coordinated remotely with field teams to monitor reforestation and climate-action projects, ensuring execution continuity and maintenance planning beyond initial plantations.2. Developed strategy notes and action plans across sustainability and restoration initiatives, supporting prioritization and resource allocation across multiple project streams.3. Initiated a GIS-based environmental mapping initiative documenting water and solid-waste pollution hotspots along a 150-km stretch of the Noyyal River across three districts4. Designed digital outreach material including explainers, posters, and campaign content for online climate-awareness initiatives and volunteer engagement.5. Delivered virtual lectures and awareness sessions for school and college students, while expanding and onboarding the volunteer network through structured virtual orientations and partner coordination.
