I recently returned to the US after working as an Assistant English Teacher in Madrid, Spain for the past two years through the NALCAP program. I graduated from Rhodes College in Memphis, TN in May 2023 with a B.S. in Chemistry and minor in Spanish. During my time at Rhodes, I was a member of the Dr. Jon Russ Analytical Chemistry Lab, as well as the Dr. Jamy Peng Developmental Neurobiology Lab at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. I am currently searching for a role in the Houston, TX area where I can combine my scientific knowledge and data driven background with my interpersonal and collaborative skills gained from teaching. I am interested in opportunities related to urban planning, environmental science/planning, energy, sales, city government, data analytics, and project management.

As an English Language Teaching Assistant, I collaborate with instructors to teach English Language, Social Science, and Natural Science classes in English to students between second and sixth grades. My duties include KET & PET Cambridge English exam preparation, one on one conversation practice, pronunciation coaching, reading comprehension help, and planning activities to practice speaking English.
