About Logan Mims

My career began in the Texas governor\'s office, where I served as a policy analyst. However, my lifelong interest in hospitality led me to pivot into fine dining. As I learned how to cook, I also learned the power of placemaking to bring people together. This background informs my professional mission: to strengthen community through conscientious real estate development. I’ve seen firsthand how economic opportunity and vibrant “third places” form resilient cities. My goal is to contribute to real estate projects that create a sense of place (hospitality and mixed-use development) and enable essential workers to thrive in the communities they serve (affordable housing). I\'m currently a graduate student at Cornell\'s School of Hotel Administration, where I\'m studying real estate and hospitality management. After graduation, I plan to build a career where I can merge my background in business, public affairs, and hospitality to create properties that succeed financially and enable communities to thrive.

   Sage redevelops underperforming hotels into attainable multifamily housing, providing 2,400+ naturally-affordable units to workforce renters in Washington, Texas, Arizona, the Carolinas, and beyond. As an intern for a fast-growing, entrepreneurial fund, I am implementing systems that will equip Sage for its next era of success while gaining exposure to all aspects of the property lifecycle.
