May 2025 — Present · Cincinnati, OH, US

In this position, I conducted my own project aimed towards determining the genes that regulate skeletal muscle elongation. I focused mainly on cell culture work, using an in vitro chemical inhibition to determine AR\'s role and an in vitro shRNA knockdown to determine GFRA1\'s role. I also contributed to other projects, such as elucidating LTBP4\'s role in muscle elongation. I am continuing to work remotely on this project throughout the year, and plan on presenting my work at the Orthopaedic Research Society\'s annual meeting in 2026.

Education
