ABOUT LOGAN MARKEWICH

I build the libraries and tools that help developers build with LLMs. As a founding engineer and Head of Open Source at LlamaIndex, I\'ve led the development of one of the most popular open-source frameworks for document processing, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and agentic AI, which is used by thousands of developers and companies worldwide. My work has ended up covering a broad stack across API/library design, LLM-ops, scalable document processing (AWS, Kubernetes), monorepo architecture supporting 400+ Python packages, open-source community management, and production-grade developer tooling. I also write tutorials, create technical content, and spend a lot of time thinking about what makes developer experiences actually good.M.Sc. in Computer Engineering (NLP/document processing) from the University of Saskatchewan. Based in western Canada.I love a good conversation about AI infrastructure, retrieval, or open-source strategy. Feel free to reach out!
