About Logan Dubel
Hi! I\'m a reporter at Local 3 News, the NBC affiliate in Chattanooga, Tennessee. I cover a wide range of stories and am committed to providing our viewers depth in my reporting. I report live throughout the morning newscast and turn packages daily. I also create our weekly broadcast and social segment,\"3 to Get Ready.\" I\'m a 2025 graduate of the Moody College of Communication at the University of Texas at Austin. While at UT, I interned at KXAN-TV and WBOC-TV, and served as the Executive Producer for Good Morning Longhorns, UT’s morning show. News and storytelling has been the thread of my entire life. From watching marathon evening newscasts after school on my hometown station, WJZ-TV in Baltimore (where Oprah Winfrey got her start!), reading TVNewser ever since I can remember, to performing on some of Charm City’s biggest stages and being the kid to break the news when school was closed for snow, I’ve always had a passion for informing and connecting with audiences. I love long-form storytelling and breaking news, from Congress to country music. I hope to one day join the ranks of incredible storytellers like Cynthia McFadden and Anthony Mason, and talented anchors who convey the news with heart like Hoda Kotb.

I report live throughout the morning show and package stories for the evening newscasts. I\'m driven to provide depth in every story I tell. From the devastating impacts of historic flooding and the removal of student mental health services to a local powerlifter\'s journey to the world stage and the underwater discovery of Columbus\' last ships, I cover a wide variety of stories. No matter the topic, I always put people\'s experiences front and center, and take great pride in sharing their stories accurately, and with care. No morning looks the same. Some days, I\'m breaking down how a city tax plan will impact viewers; other days, I\'m reporting live from the active scene of an accident or crime. I end my week with our \"College Gameday\"-style \"Friday Morning Football\" series. I also produce and report our weekly \"3 to Get Ready\" franchise, a broadcast package, digital article and social reel highlighting local events for all ages.
