About Logan Corris

Currently as a rising graduate student focused in Cyber Security Systems at St John’s University, I have demonstrated strong academic performance in all courses, maintaining a 3.75 GPA in my major. Throughout my time here I have enjoyed the topics and coursework greatly that it has inspired me to be apart of the accelerated program to receive my Masters degree in Cyber Security and Information Technology by Spring of 2024. The courses I have completed have given me a solid foundation in the tools and enterprise technology areas to assist in my goal of an internship opportunity. To list some skills that I have proven to learn during my time as a student are background in Power-Shell scripting, Python, Java, hardening Linux systems, as well as using forensic program tools. Therefore, currently in my journey I\'m looking for a position that would be a great experience for students considering entry into IT and cyber security. My most relatable experience thus-far has been with the New Jersey Judiciary group where as students we worked on a semester long project dealing with creating our own virtual operating systems while having to secure it using audits and remediation from the latest CIS Benchmark tooling. I believe that this experience has really helped me advance my skills within this work-field and motivated me to start doing my own innovative side learning.
