ABOUT LOCHAN DHOKTE
I began my journey as an engineer — but from day one, I knew I wanted to be an entrepreneur. The dream? To build something real, solve meaningful problems, and create employment for at least 100 people.During my schooling (I was homeschooled for about 3 years), I made it a point to step outside the classroom and into the real world — meeting industrialists, learning from their stories, and soaking in the entrepreneurial energy. That phase lit a spark for public speaking, and I found myself on multiple stages talking about the Magical Power of Dreaming — my favorite topic. One of my proudest moments was receiving an award from Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam after winning a national debate competition.As a startup founder, I went through the full rollercoaster — from business development to sales, operations, marketing, and even finance. That hands-on experience taught me what it really takes to build a business from scratch. Eventually, I felt pulled toward creating something more impactful and tech-enabled — which led to NetPal, a networking app that allowed me to collaborate with top-tier leaders across various associations in India.And then came Habuild — through my mom, actually. She had been following Habuild Yoga regularly and was experiencing real transformation. That struck a chord. When I met the founders and saw the vibrant team energy, I knew this was a mission I wanted to be part of.Today, I work on Partnerships at Habuild, collaborating with national and international organizations to create wellness programs that positively impact thousands of lives.We’re always on the lookout for corporates and HRs who want to build wellness for their teams.If you’re an employee, employer, or HR — DM me.
