US Sailing Safety at Sea Certification May Sailing Basic Keelboat Certification November 2023.Having grown up along the scenic shores of Cape Cod, New Jersey, and New York, I consider myself fortunate to have experienced the beauty and had a hand in protecting this beauty of those coastal regions. My maritime adventures never subside from simply hiking the coastal marshes from Chatham Ma. to Provincetown Ma, to waterskiing, sailing & clamming. I have woven a rich tapestry of life which contributed to my development of athletic skills and team working abilities. I am proud to hold the understanding of just how much we need to protect our environment and educate people in order to follow suit.In 2020, I embarked on a new chapter by becoming a member of The Milwaukee Community Sailing Center. In just two to three years, I accomplished significant milestones, attaining Race Team Leadership, a Heavy Air rating (can sail in up to 22 knots of wind), and a coveted Lifetime Basic Keel Sailing Boat Certification from US Sailing along with a US Saling Safety at Sea Certification in May 2024. These achievements have not only marked my proficiency but also positioned me to share my passion for sailing by teaching newcomers at our esteemed Center.During the vibrant summer days, you\'ll find me dedicating three to four days a week to sailing activities. Beyond the center, I actively participate in Regatta\'s (sailing races) organized by the South Shore Yacht Club, MAST Racing, and Milwaukee Yacht Club. Collaborating with diverse teams, our collective efforts focus on achieving notable goals in race placement, making each venture a fulfilling and exhilarating experience. A continued never ending Lifetime Achievement.
