ABOUT LAUREN TAYLOR

An accomplished young woman with inextinguishable perseverance and dedication towards my personal and professional goals. I combine my knowledge on water quality and management with the construction and design of stormwater systems, water resource planning, and land development. Breadth of Technical Experience Includes: water resources and stormwater projects, stormwater capture and attenuation, water conveyance, water quality, watershed and ecosystem management, utility design (water, sewer, and storm drain), detailed grading and ADA compliance, soil and erosion control design and review, stream classification and remediation/restoration projects, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, GIS and AutoCAD work, assisting in completion of state and federal environmental reporting requirements, and permitting.I completed my education at North Carolina State to pursue a degree in Environmental Engineering. My time at NC State was spent immersing myself in water resource lab research with the ENE department, a water resource engineering job with the Town of Apex, and a land development job with Jones & Cnossen Engineering.Fun Facts:My husband and I own two Australian Shepherds named Shadow & Oakley. Visited the following National Parks: Banff Canadian National Park, Jasper Canadian National Park, Great Smokey Mountains, Shenandoah, Zion, Bryce, Arches, Canyon Lands, Grand Canyon, Yosemite, Sequoia, Kings Canyon, Hot Springs, Cuyahoga Valley, Assateague Island, Rocky Mountain, Yellowstone, Grand Teton, Glacier, and counting! Outside of work I enjoy: traveling, camping, hiking, and being outdoors
