ABOUT LAURA MOULD
In 2022, I am taking a sabbatical and spending the year exploring some of the world\'s most iconic hiking trails. Kicking off in January, I\'ll be travelling to Portugal to walk the Camino - a journey of around 385 miles from Lisbon to Santiago to Compestela. With the warm up under my belt, in March I\'m heading out to the US to thru-hike the 2200 mile Appalachian Trail. Spending my days under the trees and my nights under canvas (well, technically silicon treated nylon ripstop, but that doesn\'t sound quite so romantic!), I\'ll be aiming to take my time and enjoy the journey, finishing in anywhere between 5 and 6 months. After that, who knows! More trails will no doubt beckon, but I\'ll see what catches my eye at the time (Covid-permitting of course!).
