Zscaler built, from scratch, a cloud security platform to secure the new world of IT – no hardware to deploy and manage. A cloud-based firewall proxy architecture, designed to examine web traffic over all ports and protocols including the growing segment that was SSL encrypted. It offers policies that follow the user, regardless of their location or device. Its security functionality interoperates, combining findings from different approaches to deliver a holistic perspective. The platform is capable of recognizing threats independent of signature feeds, and propagates threat information across the cloud in real-time. Last but not least it provides with visibility on demand, which goes from an at-a-glance view to the user/device level in a few clicks.
