Technical manage a team of twelve senior software engineers and leading the design, implementation, deployment and production support for the Govinfo search & public access sub-system (Govinfo SPAS). Govinfo is a search driven, high available, and distributed public facing enterprise Web application using; Java/JEE technology, Spring Boot, Solr, Microservices, NAS Storage, HTML5, JavaScript, React, SPA Interface and Web Content Management System for curated content. Leading the high-level re-architecture, detail design and proof of concept to modernize Govinfo SPAS. Re-architected Monolithic Java services to microservices using Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Micro Frontends, RabbitMQ, Docker, Kubernetes, DevSecOps and CI/CD pipeline. Working with the agency innovation specialist and product owner to plan and execute a smooth transition to Azure Government (AKS). Designed and led the implementation of Govinfo API, Link Services and Bulkdata repository using Java/JEE technology, Microservices Architecture, Spring Boot, Restful web Services, JSON and Swagger. Designed and led the implementation of a distributed and fault tolerant document processing pipeline. The highly configurable job based pipeline distribute and process big batch of data in parallel.
