ABOUT LAURA-ANNE COLLIER
I am an experienced community learning and development practitioner, trainer, fundraiser and researcher with a broad range of experience from across the public and charity sectors. I have a proven record of designing and delivering youth work and volunteering programmes, training courses, digital marketing and fundraising event products. In addition to my professional roles, I have a strong commitment to community activism. I have volunteered with Girlguiding UK for almost 15 years where I currently hold the position of Peer Education programme coordinator for Aberdeen & Shetland. I have served as a campaigner and speaker for Save Aberdeen Libraries and as a community councillor in Aberdeen. I am also the founder of the Scottish Jobs in Community Learning and Development Facebook group which has grown to over 1,200 members since 2015.My diverse skill set includes proficiency in Microsoft Office, WordPress, qualitative research, CRM databases (Raiser\'s Edge and Alms), public speaking, storytelling, leadership development, community fundraising and digital marketing. I am also a writer and have hosted spoken word open mic events and currently pursuing a certificate in Creative Writing from the UCLA Extension Writer\'s Program.
