ABOUT LLOYD HANNIGAN

A results-driven Chartered Surveyor and University of Ulster graduate, I am a long-standing member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) with approximately seventeen years of progressive experience across the UK Property sector. My career spans a diversity of professional roles, across independently owned consultancies, a PLC owned business entity, a publicly funded transport operator and a UK/ Ireland wide care provider. I have held influential Board positions, including with Clanmil Housing Association, one of Northern Ireland’s largest developing housing associations, and I currently serve on the Board of Management at Arbour Housing Association. I currently lead the property function for a multi-jurisdictional organisation with approximately c. staff across the UK and Ireland (Praxis Care).My career experience encompasses General Practice Property with a strong emphasis on Commercial Property Consulting, Revenue Generation/Commercialisation, Commercial Estate Agency, Disposals, Acquisitions, Lease Advisory, Estate Management and Business Rates.Key achievements and focus areas include:>Leading the commercialisation and revenue generation strategy for property owners, notably spearheading the commercialisation process for the £340m Belfast Grand Central Station project >Driving strategic growth by identifying, acquiring, and refurbishing properties to support organisational expansion across the UK and Ireland.>Designing and implementing estate strategies to deliver sustained revenue growth for business organisations.>Leading business improvement, change management, and modernisation initiatives to improve commerciality and professional standards.>Building and developing high-performing teams to enhance business culture, estate, asset, and team performance.>Proactively managing commercial, revenue-generating contracts.>Providing regular board-level reporting and strategic input to inform governance and decision-making.
