About Lloyd Teta
I am a PhD candidate in Aerospace Engineering and an MBA candidate at Georgia Tech, working on the design and deployment of complex aerospace systems.My research focuses on unmanned aerial systems and advanced aircraft design, with an emphasis on how vehicle design, operations, and infrastructure interact at the system level. At the Aerospace Systems Design Laboratory (ASDL), I develop computational frameworks that connect aircraft design with operational performance, including optimization methods, model-based systems engineering, and large-scale simulation.I also develop probabilistic simulation frameworks that estimate how large-scale drone delivery operations affect noise exposure in urban environments, helping regulators and system designers evaluate operational concepts before deployment.Alongside my doctoral work, my MBA studies complement this engineering perspective by focusing on technology strategy, investment decisions, and how complex engineering systems transition from research to real-world deployment.Technical Interests: Aircraft Design, Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS), Drone Conceptual Design, Urban Air Mobility, Noise ModelingMethods & Tools: Systems Engineering, MBSE, Systems Analytics and Optimization, Vehicle Design Optimization, Trajectory Optimization, Path Planning, Operations Research
