I’m an IT Specialist with over 15 years of experience in the computer industry - specifically on-site/remote Desktop Support, Windows 10 migrations, Eye-Tracking technology, and logistics/asset management. I have supported end users of all levels at my previous jobs, and also trained domestic and international field suppliers in North America, Central America, & South America.Previously, I was working as a consultant on Windows 10 migration projects at Prudential Financial and Standard Chartered Bank. I worked with all levels of users by communicating with them face to face, via email, or chat. The migration included backup and restores, laptop/desktop swaps, and “in-place” upgrades, or refresh upgrades. I also dealt with any of the troubleshooting that occurred during the migration. And before consulting, I was a full-time employee at PRS IN VIVO. I learned about Eye-Tracking technology, worked with A/V devices in a Retail Shopper lab, and packaging research. I worked with a 4-man team but I\'m able to handle the department duties when I\'m alone in the office working in the field. My role is focused on Eye-Tracking Technology support but I frequently deal with PC desktop and tablet issues. Successes included creating PDF instruction manuals that our field suppliers use to rebuild or troubleshoot the Eye-Tracking equipment.Colleagues know me as a highly dependable person who can be trusted to handle tasks that have been passed on or assist with help desk tickets that are high priority. I understand that the client’s business always comes first, and I never try to impose my ideas on others. Instead, I play my role and try understanding the business and the audience before making suggestions. I work well alone, but I’m always at my best collaborating with others.Currently, I’m a Lead Technician with Cognizant, working at their client site (Global Bankers Ins Group) in Basking Ridge, NJ. I do on-site and remote support for about 30 users.
