I\'m a GP by background with a deep commitment to tackling health inequalities and addressing the root causes of poverty. Although not currently practicing clinically, my experience spans local, regional, and national roles within the NHS, focusing particularly on shaping the future of Primary Care to create equitable health outcomes for all.As Associate Director at the Health Equity Evidence Centre, I dedicate half my working week to collaborating with policymakers and practitioners on what works to tackle health and care inequalities, bridging the gap between research and practice. In parallel, as Development Director at Cambridge City Foodbank, I lead initiatives designed not only to support those in immediate need but also to address systemic poverty, advocating for sustainable solutions that eliminate the reliance on emergency food aid.I\'m passionate about collaboration, innovation, and turning evidence into meaningful action to create healthier, fairer communities.
