ABOUT LAUREL K LESLIE
I am committed to improving outcomes for infants, children, adolescents, and young adults (hereafter children) and their families. My passion is working at the research-policy-practice interface, with the goal to catalyze exchange across this interface to improve care for children and their families. This exchange must be multidirectional with policy and practice settings benefiting from rigorous and relevant science and researchers learning about critical health problems that could benefit from research and identifying implementation issues that may impede the application of evidence-based solutions in real world settings. I bring this perspective to my work at the American Board of Pediatrics as well as a Professor of Medicine and Pediatrics at Tufts University School of Medicine.
