About Linda Davis

With over 10 years of experience in geology, mineralogy, and analytical geochemistry, I am a passionate and driven R&D Associate at Vesuvius USA, a leading refractory solutions provider for the metal and glass industries. I am part of the Center of Excellence for Raw Materials, based in Visakhapatnam, India, where I evaluate raw materials for Southeast Asia and the Americas, and lead the R&D Analytical Lab Capabilities Global Technology Bridge. As a key contributor to Vesuvius USA\'s research and innovation, I have completed four extended international trips this year to train and advance the analytical skills of our teams around the world, specializing in XRD and XRF techniques and software. I have also managed and mentored countless individuals across multiple geologic disciplines, served as a board member of the Association for Women Geoscientists Foundation, taught at major universities, and performed research at national laboratories. I am committed to enhancing quality, diversity, and the exchange of knowledge, leadership, and teamwork in the geoscientific community.
