About Lisa Millman
Lisa Millman has two decades of leadership experience in development and strategic planning for the not-for-profit sector. She has built an exceptional record of fundraising success, from securing transformational gifts in support of capital campaigns to diversifying the portfolio of donors who provide essential annual support. In advancing the mission of each institution she serves, Lisa employs creative vision, entrepreneurial energy, and keen administrative skills to execute on the Board’s plan to create and fund sustainable and replicable programs and position the organization for future growth.Throughout her career, Lisa has cultivated relationships with a broad range of donor constituencies including ultra high net worth individuals, large global foundations, multi-national corporations and governmental agencies. Currently, she is the Senior Managing Director of Principal Giving at The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. She previously led teams at the Museum of Modern Art, WaterAid America, NYU Stern and NYU Langone Medical Center. Drawing on her corporate experiences at Goldman Sachs and Sotheby’s, Lisa takes an innovative approach to building high performing, collaborative teams. With a unique combination of a strong business acumen, empathy, program knowledge and passion, she is known for helping to drive organizations to even greater success. She received her BA in political science from Colgate University and earned an MBA from the NYU Stern School of Business. Lisa serves on numerous leadership committees at Colgate University, is French Culinary Institute certified and is an active supporter of the Food Pantry Farm in East Hampton, NY. When she isn’t researching her next travel itinerary, she is out cycling.
