About Laura Malcolm

I\'ve spent 25+ years building education technology to improve student success. As a leader in edtech product design and innovation, my expertise centers around using data and design thinking to help learners thrive. I first discovered my passion for improving student success as a K12 classroom teacher. After completing my Master\'s degree in Learning, Design, and Technology from Stanford University, I went on to build numerous edtech solutions and co-founded Civitas Learning, which uses machine learning and artificial intelligence to improve student outcomes in higher education. I am now working at Shmoody focusing on improving wellness and success outcomes for students in higher ed.
