I have the passion and determination to make the world a better place - while my interests are mostly in creating a sustainable food and agricultural system, I am fueled by many social issues. I enjoy a culture that is collaborative where I can challenge the status quo, carry innovative ideas forward, and where all levels of the organization are respected for the unique skills and ideas they bring. I thrive on ambiguous, complex challenges. I enjoy working within a matrixed culture - where networking, storytelling, influencing,(some) patience, teamwork, and dogged determination are the skills needed to create positive change within and outside the organization. I am most happy when I can bring the right people (or organizations) together to leverage their skills and talents to drive social innovation. While I believe I can bring great ideas forward, I firmly believe that a collective of passionate individuals with a diverse set of skills and ideas can maximize impact and produce high-value, high-impact results.
