Oversee day-to-day operations of the communications department, as well as the internal and external communications initiatives for the organization• Foster and maintain relationships with major partners of the organization, including Major League Baseball, United States Olympic Sports Committee, World Baseball Softball Confederation, and Panini America• Support and execute initiatives and term agreements with sponsors of the organization, including its multimedia rights relationship with Learfield• Assist in developing and executing USA Baseball’s alumni relations plan and its annual Day of GivingOversee credentialing for USA Baseball’s events and national team competitions and manage external media requests on behalf of the organization• Create and execute the organization’s E-News calendar, which includes but is not limited to a monthly newsletter to USA Baseball subscribers, as well quarterly development and program initiative newsletters• Create and execute content plans for USA Baseball’s identification events, national teams, and development initiatives through press releases, advisories, short- and long-form storytelling, and social media strategy for its 24 accounts• Oversee the hiring and onboarding process the communications interns each summer, and manage the interns on a day-to-day basis
