Lizzie is a recent graduate from the University of Edinburgh where she received a bachelor degree with honors in International Relations. Following her graduation in July of 2024, Lizzie relocated to Charlottesville, VA to begin a year-long internship with the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business. Looking ahead, Lizzie has aspirations of building her life and career in London.While at the University of Edinburgh, Lizzie discovered a passion for human rights and refugee advocacy through various research opportunities within the School of Social and Political Science. Familiar with juggling large volumes of literature and data, Lizzie collaborated on research projects, led diverse teams, and was known for meeting hard deadlines. While her studies are what brought her to the United Kingdom, the rich architecture, art, and history kept her constantly engaged outside of the classroom, instilling in her a deep love for the global world in which we live and the various cultures within it.Having worked in startups, academia, and international settings, Lizzie has proven to be a fast learner who can adapt quickly and pivot between tasks with ease. In her time at The University of Virginia\'s Darden School of Business, she has produced a range of content, including newsletters, blog posts, and one-pagers on topics from financial industry trends to MBA alumni spotlights. She has also contributed to Darden’s brand management efforts, supporting an initiative to refine messaging and help launch a new website style.With her strong attention to detail and ability to receive feedback effectively, she executes the vision of any project she has been given in an accurate and timely manner. She is not afraid to ask questions or request guidance when needed, and likewise demonstrates leadership by taking the initiative to assist others when they need help. Lizzie is a creative yet methodical problem solver who loves taking on various logistical, operational, and administrative challenges.Outside of work, Lizzie aspires to continue her travels with a goal of visiting all seven continents one day and is excited about making London her new home.
