ABOUT LIZ WORTHEN

Over a 20+ year career in education, I’ve taught in an inner-city school, led the development of CPD programmes, created new training products, and managed an online knowledge network for school leaders. What drives me is enabling people to flourish, whether that’s pupils in the classroom, members of the school workforce, colleagues in my team, or the writers and contributors I collaborate with. I’m now the owner and managing editor of Creating Value in Schools, a blog, podcast and resource hub to support sustainable working in schools. I’m also open to part-time, contract and project work with organisations that are focused on creating better futures. I\'m experienced in all aspects of programme development, from the initial ideation and research, through to commissioning, gathering expertise, digital builds, evaluation, engagement and marketing strategies. For example, I have led the launch and implementation of- award-winning blended learning networks- a workforce support programme and partnership strategy to build usage of a video-based learning service- a series of in-house training courses, in both print and digital formats- a blog sharing insights, information and thought leadership, generating views a month- a magazine providing guidance and best practice, which supported member engagement and retention- an awards ceremony to celebrate excellence and impact. I\'m passionate about partnering with organisations ready to transform their educational impact. Let\'s explore how we can work together.
