ABOUT LIZ STUCKI
I have a fascination with the human experience, and it guides my leadership style and work on the daily. I want to create meaningful moments everywhere by creatively tackling entitlement and disrupting the mundane. I tend to lead, design, and create experiences that are catered for the sometimes predictable, yet fickle brains of humans. It\'s just great. A bit about my career path. I\'ve spent quite a bit of time in communications and information design, but started out in graphic design, advertising, and marketing. I switched to websites, intranet, product, and UX design because the demand was enormous, the path forward was new and exciting, and the need was great. With experience design work in systems under my belt, I saw a need to help improve and integrate the experiences between people and technology. I became a consultant and helped leaders connect work between teams and guided system configuration to mimic human psychology – how people expect to find things. I made a natural progression into operations, leaning into my past experiences to enhance the entire change management process that comes with standardizing and scaling. I remember the day that I felt truly comfortable hanging up my create-it-all hat and tackling my next big role - leading people. Leadership is an always learning and highly rewarding journey. My style involves first, developing a team culture of continuous growth and disruption - one that involves failing fast, staying curious, and having direct conversations; second, trusting my team to get it done (AKA delegating) and following up to make sure my leaders feel supported; third, enabling innovation and creativity: with the right tools, resources, and stakeholder partnership; and last, creating constant opportunities for people to stretch in skills and behaviors. I am often asked to mentor and speak about leadership and personal brand. Speaking allows me to entertain and educate, and I enjoy it more than I can say. Yes, I\'d love to! I also enjoy consulting and even get approached to audit apps for investors - from the user experience to the business model. If you\'re curious, reach out.
