About Lizanna Pierre
Detailed, data-driven, and dedicated describe my strengths as a Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Engineer in the Energy industry. My mission is to simplify the complex regulatory environment to help improve ESH performance, environmental metrics, and sustainability practices. After fainting at the sight of blood and needles, my short-lived career goal to become a physician (hence, the Biology degree) ended and my long career in Health, Safety, and Environmental Management began. As an ESH Professional, I love using my innate skills of methodically breaking down problems and developing standardized systems that are easy to implement at all levels of the organization. The highlights of my career thus far are: 1) Saving my company significant legal fees and preventing a lawsuit though writing clear regulatory interpretations of federal and state regulations2) Reducing worker time spent on HSE training by over 70% through the use of technology3) Automating criteria pollutant, GHG, and HAPs data collection and analysis by 40%, improving data quality What I do…I find ways to improve systems and tools to drive HES improvement, while using data to drive decisions that positively impact the environment and keep workers safe. My core competencies are:• Regulatory Reporting (greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, criteria pollutants, waste)• Environmental Performance and Metrics data tracking• Developing and deploying HES training • Configuring and calculating emissions using various software tools; preparing emission inventories• Permit writing and permit renewals• Directing projects and managing teams, schedules, and budgets• Monitoring regulations to determine business impacts• Technical writing of compliance policies, procedures, SPCC, SWP3, Emergency Response and other plans Other areas of specialty include:• Multi-media (air, water, waste, chemicals) compliance• Regulatory interpretation• Data collection/analysis and Data Management• Compliance Assurance• Environmental Advocacy • Regulatory Agency Interaction and Engagement These skills, coupled with expertise in the Clean Air Act (CAA), Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), CERCLA, CWA, TIER II, and Toxic Release Inventory (TRI) regulations, help businesses increase efficiency, save time and mitigate operational and reputational risks.Contact me at l••••••••@gmail.com or 83••••••01.Keywords: Oil and gas, natural gas, upstream, onshore, offshore, NSPS, NESHAP, HH, GHG, Subpart W, air emissions, air quality, air compliance,
