ABOUT LIZ PHILP

I\'m a senior leader with over 25 years of experience striving for operational excellence, leading teams and delivering complex programs across the environmental sector with clients across multiple industries in both private and public sector. Known for creating collaborative, empowering team cultures, I lead with authenticity and energy. I thrive in a matrix organisations where influencing across disciplines and departments is key, understanding stakeholders needs is critical to success. As an Operations Director, I\'ve been accountable for large P&L delivery, business performance across the remediation, energy and most recently real estate function. I\'ve played a key role in shaping the UK, Europe, India regional real estate strategy linking the business and its needs and our property professionals to align space, people and future planning. Most recently, I spent time in Tanzania volunteering with Mondo, working directly with the in country team to develop a sustainable strategy to strengthen women’s empowerment programmes, VICOBA support, and wider community impact. This experience has deepened my commitment to purpose led work and reaffirmed the value of building capability, trust and ownership within teams.I’m open to trustee or non-executive opportunities within the charity sector, particularly those focused on women’s empowerment, education, or community development — where I can bring my operational leadership, strategic mindset and experience in transformational change to help organisations and teams to grow and thrive.
