   Head Environment, Health & Safety strategic program - leading a 21-person team and $9M annual budget to develop environmental, health and safety (EH & S) strategies and programs across the research and preclinical development headquarters location and 7 other global offices, for employees.Select accomplishments include: Developed the EH & S Business Partner model to scale the team\'s impact and ability to prevent work-related illness and injury across 50+ R&D departments, researchers throughout 400+ labs with more than hazardous compounds. Recommended and implemented an EH & S Management System and launched 4 modules (lab safety profiles, radioactive materials management, biological safety management, and incident management) plus a business intelligence dashboard for metrics reporting. Maintained compliance across 150 annual regulatory actions including program audits, training delivery, regulatory submissions, and inspections. Alerted senior executives and met with CEO in January 2020 to recommend specific actions to prepare for the novel coronavirus. Rapidly established safety processes, procedures, and controls during the onset of COVID-19 to allow facility-dependent colleagues to continue to safely work onsite. Enabled the team to safely research and develop a COVID-19 therapeutic authorized by the FDA in November 2020.
