About Liz Cordill Aguilar

At māk studio, we support projects from early design through fabrication and installation with clear coordination and real-world feasibility in all areas of finishing- millwork, wood features, metals and acoustics through our design-assist method. My background is in architecture and interior design, followed by more than a decade operating our own fabrication business. Working across design and production shaped how I approach projects — materials, budgets, manufacturing methods, and site conditions are interconnected, and decisions made early carry all the way through delivery.We collaborate with architects, GCs, brands, and design teams on environments that are complex, high-visibility, or logistically demanding. Our work often includes developing fabrication-ready systems, aligning design with manufacturing realities, coordinating the right production partners, and staying involved through installation to maintain continuity.This spans corporate interiors, aviation, retail, hospitality and specialty spaces, event installations, and multi-site programs where consistency and execution matter.
