Be Boundaryless. Passionate and persistent are the first two words those who know me would use to describe me. I very much consider myself an intrapreneur. I am skilled at nurturing new ideas and coalescing the team behind a common vision. I like learning and applying best practices from multiple disciplines to solve problems. Within my organization, I\'m known as a \"Jill of all trades\". I deal well with ambiguity and am comfortable extrapolating insights from data and apply these skills to drive resolution across key organizational issues. I have a background in supply chain ESG, supplier engagement, program management, and process development. Several years ago, I went back to graduate school to study education. I\'m insatiably curious about how we, as a community, can best prepare students for the world of work. Young people spend 12+ years investing in their schooling. They deserve to graduate ready to succeed in the workforce on day one. To answer this question, I spent my time at Harvard studying deeper learning, adolescent career development, and US efforts to bolster education to employment pathways.

1. Sustainability Manager, Procurement

   Microsoft

   Jul 2020 — Present

   Led four-person team in successfully onboarding and building a program to support 900+ suppliers with Microsoft’s sustainability requirements, specifically disclosing and reducing their carbon emissions• Sponsored development of comprehensive carbon accounting learning modules to assist suppliers with calculating their carbon emissions • Authored whitepaper to share Microsoft’s strategy for engaging its supply chain on sustainability, one of the most difficult areas for companies to drive carbon reduction • Partnered with cross-company v-team to embed a carbon price into Microsoft’s sourcing process so that our spending further reflects our company commitment to sustainability• Represented Procurement in efforts to drive compliance to various human rights regulations, including the Uyghur Forced Labor Protection Act and the UK Modern Slavery Act
