CURA Art brings a personal and comprehensive approach to collections care and management. We offer specialized advice and services to ensure that works of art and other precious materials are preserved, managed, stored and displayed to the highest standards. We aim to support stewardship and encourage responsible collecting. Organized, well-researched collections are enhanced in terms of provenance and value, but also considered and promoted as objects for current and future generations. The CURA Art partnership is based in Los Angeles and London. Liza Shapiro and Georgia Powell met when working together in London, having both worked in the public and private sector, they identified a shared and genuine interest in offering a personalized solution for the management of collections. CURA Art is a member of American Alliance of Museums (AAM), ArtTable, Association of Women in the Arts (AWITA), International Council of Museums (ICOM), Museums Association (MA), The Institute of Conservation (ICON), and UK Registrars Group (UKRG).
